Train passengers in Kazakhstan reminded of sanitation zone rules

Tengrinews.kz - Rules for toilet use in trains passing through sanitation zones vary depending on the type of train, as explained by JSC "Passenger Transportation."

According to the company, passengers in trains equipped with bio-toilets can use them at any time, even during sanitation zone crossings and station stops.

"In trains with bio-toilets, facilities remain accessible to passengers throughout the entire route, including stops," stated the press service.

In standard trains, however, toilets are closed 30 minutes before arrival at major stations and remain closed during stops.

"Conductors notify passengers in advance so they can use the facilities before entering a sanitation zone," the press service added.
