Tengrinews.kz – President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will deliver his annual Address to the People of Kazakhstan on September 8 at a joint session of the chambers of Parliament. This was announced by the President’s aide and press secretary, Ruslan Zheldibay.

The event will be attended by deputies of the Senate and Mazhilis, heads of central government bodies, members of the National Kurultai, the Human Rights Commission, the National Commission on Women’s Affairs and Family and Demographic Policy, as well as representatives of the public and labor collectives.

Last time, the President delivered his Address on September 2, 2024.

The Head of State announced the date of the referendum on the nuclear power plant, which took place on October 6, 2024.

An important message of the Address was Tokayev’s appeal to businessmen on the list for asset recovery. The President warned entrepreneurs that they should not bargain over this issue; otherwise, the conversation would take a different turn.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev instructed the police to combat banditry, setting the task of ensuring the comprehensive safety of citizens.
