Tengrinews.kz – Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will take part in Victory Day celebrations in Moscow.
This was announced by Presidential Adviser and Press Secretary Aibek Smadiyarov. He noted that Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will attend ceremonial events in Moscow dedicated to the 81st anniversary of the Great Victory.
“The Kremlin expressed satisfaction with this decision by the Kazakh leader, calling his upcoming working visit to Moscow a ‘friendly step.’ A separate meeting between Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Vladimir Putin is planned as part of the visit,” Smadiyarov said in a statement.
The heads of state will discuss key issues of strategic cooperation ahead of the Russian President’s visit to Kazakhstan, scheduled for late May.
