Tengrinews.kz - President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev took part in an expanded-format meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council (SEEC).
The meeting focused on current issues related to the development of trade and economic cooperation with key EAEU partners, as well as prospects for deeper collaboration in key areas such as industry, transport and logistics, agriculture, digitalization, and artificial intelligence.

Speakers at the meeting included Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian (via video message), Cuban President Miguel Mario Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and First Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia Uchral Nyam-Osor.

At the end of the session, a number of documents were signed, including a trade agreement with Mongolia and an economic partnership agreement with the United Arab Emirates.

Kazakhstan will assume the chairmanship of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council next year.
Tokayev arrived in Minsk on June 27.
