Tengrinews.kz - President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev bid farewell to King Abdullah II of Jordan at the capital’s airport, citing Akorda.
The presidential press service released photographs from Astana Airport, where an honor guard was lined up in tribute to the visiting monarch.
President Tokayev personally said goodbye to the distinguished guest.

Earlier, before heading to the airport, Tokayev and King Abdullah II visited the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC). AIFC Governor Renat Bekturov presented the guests with the results of the centre’s work, highlighting the activities of the AIFC Court, the International Arbitration Court, the Astana Financial Services Authority, and the AIFC Exchange. He also introduced the unique corporate “Trust Museum.”
During the state visit, President Tokayev and King Abdullah II held both narrow-format and expanded talks, and later toured Astana Hub, the region’s leading IT and innovation cluster.
