Tengrinews.kz – President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has replaced ambassadors in several countries. He also appointed permanent representatives of Kazakhstan to two international organizations, according to Akorda.
By presidential decree, Rauan Zhumabek has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the United Arab Emirates, replacing Nazhmedin Mukhametaliuly.
Barlybay Sadykov has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Kenya, and Permanent Representative of Kazakhstan to the United Nations Office in Nairobi concurrently. He has been relieved of his duties as Ambassador to Ethiopia. Zhalgas Adilbayev is now representing Kazakhstan in Ethiopia.
Yerkebulan Sapiyev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Turkey, has been appointed Permanent Representative of Kazakhstan to the Organization of Turkic States, concurrently.
Recently, the President also changed the ambassador to Mongolia. Almas Seitakynov has been appointed to the position.
