Tengrinews.kz – President Tokayev has ratified the Protocol on Water and Health, according to Akorda.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev signed the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On the Ratification of the Protocol on Water and Health to the 1992 Convention on the Protection and Use of Transboundary Watercourses and International Lakes.”

The Protocol aims to protect public health and well-being through sustainable water resource management, as well as by preventing and reducing the spread of water-related diseases. The main goals of this document strategically align with the Sustainable Development Goals.
