Tengrinews.kz – Speaking at a scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Constitution, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stated that no social media platforms have been blocked in Kazakhstan.

He emphasized that the country’s Basic Law holds great constructive potential. Every article of the Constitution reflects the shared values, goals, and interests of a united nation.

“Constitutional, political, and economic reforms, the enormous strength and potential of our people, and large-scale investments in education, science, and culture — all of this has paved the way for positive changes in the country. We must appreciate our achievements. That, too, is a manifestation of a Just State. Our schoolchildren and students are showing strong results at prestigious international Olympiads. The victories of our athletes on global sports stages inspire the whole nation,” Tokayev said.

According to the President, Kazakhstanis are confidently moving toward their goals and achieving success in education, science, the arts, business, and other fields.

“Kazakhstan is a country open to the world. Everyone knows that we have free internet access. Not a single social network has been blocked in our country, and all citizens have access to global news. Kazakhstanis can travel abroad freely, and young people can independently choose the universities they want to attend. This state policy will continue. Young people from around the world believe in Kazakhstan’s bright future and want to come here,” the Head of State said.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also noted that Kazakhstan has clear goals ahead.

“A bright future awaits us. We are making great efforts to become a leading country that uses digitalization and artificial intelligence for the benefit of the people,” the President concluded.
