Tokayev explained what path the new Constitution opens up

Tengrinews.kz – President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev spoke at a ceremony for the presentation of state awards and military ranks. In his speech, the Head of State noted that the Constitution is a reliable guarantee of Kazakhstan’s statehood and sovereignty, citing Akorda.

Kazakhstan’s Constitution reflects the interests, goals and unique values of the people.

“The new Basic Law establishes the protection of sovereignty and independence, respect for citizens’ rights and freedoms, as well as improving the people’s well-being and strengthening national unity as fundamental principles. The development of human capital, education, science and innovation has been enshrined as a strategic area of state activity. Thus, we have embarked on the path of building a fair, strong and advanced state where the principle of ‘Law and Order’ prevails and all citizens are provided with equal opportunities,” Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said.

The President emphasized that Kazakhstan’s course is based on ambitious goals and clear guidelines.

“Only by preserving unity and well-being will we be able to achieve the tasks set,” Tokayev said.

As a reminder, President and Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated officers and soldiers, as well as participants of the ceremony, on Defender of the Fatherland Day and Victory Day.
