Tengrinews.kz – A telephone conversation took place between the President of Kazakhstan and the Emir of Qatar. During the call with Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev discussed the current situation in the Middle East, reports Akorda.
The Head of State expressed serious concern over the escalation of the conflict in the region, stating his firm support and solidarity with the Emir and the brotherly people of Qatar during this difficult period.
Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani thanked Kazakhstan for its unwavering support and reaffirmed his country’s commitment to comprehensively strengthening multifaceted Kazakh–Qatari relations in the spirit of friendship and strategic partnership.
The President of Kazakhstan wished the Emir of Qatar further success in his high state activities, and wished the brotherly people of Qatar peace and prosperity in the holy month of Ramadan.
