During the meeting, Tokayev was informed about the transformation of Microsoft’s Kazakhstan office into a multi-regional hub that serves Central Asia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Mongolia, and Pakistan.

“The President highlighted Kazakhstan’s ongoing work on AI legislation aimed at leveraging its potential for innovation and economic growth. A National AI Center is set to be established next year, which will serve as a foundation for the country’s digital transformation,” the statement said.

Michelle Simmons emphasized Microsoft’s commitment to further strengthening digital development partnerships with Kazakhstan.
