According to him, the launch of supercomputing clusters based on NVIDIA technology has become a major step toward achieving this goal and strengthening the country’s technological sovereignty.
“Kassym-Jomart Tokayev spoke about plans to implement the strategic ‘Data Center Valley’ project in the city of Ekibastuz, aimed at creating computing infrastructure with access to affordable electricity, telecommunications, and tax incentives for investors. Representatives of NVIDIA and Firebird AI, in turn, informed him about the implementation of a similar project in Armenia,” the Akorda press service noted.
Following the meeting, the sides agreed to explore opportunities for joint work in developing the AI ecosystem.
It is worth noting that on April 28, the Presidents of Kazakhstan and Israel visited the Alem.ai International Center for Artificial Intelligence in Astana. They familiarized themselves with the work of the Alem.ai center, where a full cycle of technology development is being formed — from the early identification and training of talent to the global scaling of AI solutions.
The President of Israel was presented with Kazakhstan’s key achievements in total digitalization and the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies in major sectors of the economy and the social sphere.
