Tengrinews.kz – President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent a telegram of congratulations to the general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, according to the press service of Akorda.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated To Lam on Tet – the New Year according to the Vietnamese calendar.
The Head of State emphasized that Kazakhstan considers Vietnam an important and reliable partner in Southeast Asia and attaches great importance to expanding their strategic partnership, which is based on ties of friendship and mutual understanding.
The President expressed his readiness to make joint efforts to bring their multifaceted cooperation to a qualitatively new level.
The President wished To Lam success in his responsible work and well-being and prosperity to the friendly people of Vietnam.
Earlier, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated Chinese President Xi Jinping on the New Year according to the Chinese calendar – the Spring Festival (Chunjie).
