Tengrinews.kz – The Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, sent a congratulatory telegram to the President of Turkey, according to Akorda.
“Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the Turkish people on their national holiday – Republic Day. The President of Kazakhstan emphasized that during his official visit to Turkey earlier this year, he held meaningful talks with President Erdoğan,” the statement said.
The telegram expressed confidence that the agreements reached in Ankara and the important initiatives discussed would give new momentum to the further strengthening of the strategic partnership between the two countries.
Tokayev wished Erdoğan success in his responsible work and wished the brotherly people of Turkey well-being and prosperity.
Republic Day of Turkey is celebrated on October 29 — the day in 1923 when the Republic of Turkey was proclaimed, and Mustafa Kemal Atatürk became its first president. The holiday symbolizes the birth of modern Turkey, and in 2025, the country marks its 102nd anniversary.
