Tengrinews.kz - Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has raised concerns over the increasing number of online insults and attacks on human dignity, calling for measures to curb such behavior.

Speaking at the fourth session of the National Kurultai in Burabay, Tokayev emphasized that spreading false information and engaging in personal attacks on social media are unacceptable.

"Cases of insults and attacks on human dignity have become more frequent on social media. Some individuals are spreading false information. We must consider possible measures to prevent such unacceptable actions," the president stated.

The two-day session of the National Kurultai brings together government officials, public figures, and experts to discuss key issues shaping the country’s future.

Tokayev established the National Kurultai in June 2022 as a consultative body to facilitate discussions on Kazakhstan’s development.

Previous sessions were held in Ulytau, Turkestan, and Atyrau.
