The presidents attended a celebratory concert marking the launch of Armenian Culture Days, held at the Kazakh National Music and Drama Theatre named after Kalibek Kuanyshbayev.
Before the event, Tokayev and Khachaturyan viewed a photo exhibition in the theatre’s foyer, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the renowned Armenian filmmaker and artist Sergey Parajanov.
The concert featured performances of works by famous Armenian composers, including Komitas, Charles Aznavour, Georges Garvarentz, and Arno Babajanyan, performed by the Armenian State Jazz Orchestra and artists Inga Arshakyan and Gor Sujyan.
In addition, Armenian Film Days will be held in Astana from October 15-16, and the "Amazgain" Theater named after Sos Sargsyan will present the play "Lyu-Beff," based on the works of Daniil Kharms, for the city's residents.
