The President named the main mission of modern media

The President congratulated the participants on Media Workers' Day and extended his warm wishes. He noted that this professional holiday holds special significance for the country.

"The primary calling of journalists is to inform society and reflect the aspirations and thoughts of the people. You raise the most pressing issues concerning the public and faithfully serve its interests. In an era of advanced global technology, the press is entrusted with the noble mission of providing the population with timely, high-quality, and reliable information, as well as objective analysis. The state highly values your tireless work for the benefit of the country. As President, I want to express my gratitude to all media representatives today," President Tokayev emphasized.

He praised the contribution of journalists to the adoption of the new Constitution. According to the President, there is every reason to call the media the voice of the nation and the mirror of society.
