The condition of a swan in Astana's Central Park has alarmed Kazakhstanis

"Help the poor thing"

Under the post, users are urging the Akimat (city administration) to take notice of the bird. Some reported that they have already submitted requests via the e-Otinish platform to the Department of Environmental Protection. Commenters fear that without assistance, the animal could suffer a serious injury.

"Help the poor thing, it has been suffering for days," the post reads.

Akimat's response

The Astana Akimat stated that specialists have already assessed the swan's condition. According to their data, the bird is currently doing well.

"According to information from Central Park, the swan's behavior was due to foreign objects under its feet on the island. Currently, the bird's condition is not a cause for concern: the swan is in the water and swimming actively," the Akimat reported.

Specialists continue to monitor its condition, the Akimat clarified.
