Tengrinews.kz - French President Emmanuel Macron emphasized the importance of the negotiations held with the delegation from Kazakhstan, which will give an additional boost to Kazakh-French cooperation, according to the press service of Akorda.
"Thanks to you, in recent years, the partnership between our countries has significantly strengthened," said Emmanuel Macron, addressing Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
During the talks, the heads of state thoroughly discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation in the fields of machine engineering, transportation and logistics, agriculture, energy, industrial cooperation, climate, digital development, and healthcare. Special attention was given to strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties.
There was also an exchange of views on pressing issues on the regional and international agenda.
Earlier, a solemn welcoming ceremony for the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was held in Paris.
