Tengrinews.kz - The most romantic creatures of the wild have returned to Burabay, as whooper swans have arrived at the national park.
The nesting season for whooper swans has begun in Burabay National Park. These rare birds, listed in Kazakhstan’s Red Book, return each year to the region’s lakes to raise their young.
Their arrival is seen as a positive indicator of the region’s ecological health. Park specialists report that the swans have already started building their nests, with chicks expected to hatch in the coming months.
