Spanish Prime Minister José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero has arrived in Astana on an official visit, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing Kazakhstan’s PM Karim Massimov’s Twitter account. PM Massimov personally met Mr. Zapatero at the international airport of Astana. The Spanish Prime Minister is expected to meet Kazakhstan’s leadership to discuss strategic relations between the two nations. Besides, the two Heads of Governments are to meet representatives of flagship Spanish enterprises. A raft of agreements is to be signed at the interagency and intergovernmental levels, as well as contracts between companies.
