Tengrinews.kz — A second earthquake in one day has occurred in the Zhetysu Region.
According to data from the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre, the earthquake occurred on March 31 at 11:11 Astana time. The epicenter of the tremors was located 52 kilometers northwest of the city of Zharkent. The earthquake had a magnitude of 4.6.
As a reminder, during the night of March 31, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.4 occurred in the same area. There have been no reports of it being felt in Kazakhstan.
