Tengrinews.kz – Sailors in the Aktau garrison were put on alert, according to the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan.
According to the information, with the beginning of the new training period, a large-scale combat readiness check was conducted in the Kazakh Naval forces.
"About 1 500 servicemen, including marines and other units, were put on alert and brought to the highest level of combat readiness," the report says.

As part of the inspection at the ship base, various aspects of combat training were assessed, including counter-sabotage measures and tactical operations. The ship crews went out into the Caspian Sea, demonstrating their readiness to act in conditions close to combat.

"The inspection of the forces and means of the units of the Naval Forces is carried out according to a wide range of scenarios. It is aimed at improving the skills and abilities of personnel to act in emergency situations," the Defense Ministry explains.
