Tengrinews.kz – A female passenger of a Nordwind Airlines Boeing 777, which made an emergency landing in Aktobe, has died. The information was confirmed by the city airport administration.
What happened
On the afternoon of May 27, a Boeing 777 aircraft operated by Nordwind Airlines made an emergency landing in Aktobe.
It is known that there were 564 passengers on board. The plane was en route from Yekaterinburg to Sochi, but was forced to land in Aktobe due to a medical emergency involving one of the passengers.
According to Dastan Maliev, Chairman of the Board of the Aliya Moldagulova International Airport, the female passenger on the Yekaterinburg–Sochi flight passed away. It is still unclear whether the death occurred on board or after landing in Aktobe. The airport administration stated that further details will be provided later.
