Tengrinews.kz - The National Security Committee (NSC) reported how many weapons and ammunition were seized from illegal circulation in 2024.
The video published by NSC shows what weapons were seized by the National Security Committee together with the police and prosecutor's office during operational and investigative measures to search for and seize weapons from illegal circulation, including those stolen during the "January events."
"As a result, 7 channels of secondary weapons circulation, 7 internal distribution channels, and 4 workshops for their handicraft production were eliminated. 58 Kalashnikov assault rifles, 283 rifles, 164 pistols, 115 grenades, and more than 15 thousand rounds of ammunition of various calibers were seized," the report says.
It is noted that measures to combat illegal arms trafficking are ongoing.
Earlier, the NSC reported on its border guards' work for 2024.
