During high-level talks in Astana, the parties are expected to discuss prospects for developing trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian cooperation. Several documents are also scheduled to be signed.
In 2023, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held talks with President William Ruto on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly. During that meeting, the leaders discussed expanding trade and economic relations. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized that Kenya is of particular interest for cooperation as one of the most prosperous nations on the African continent.
