Tengrinews.kz - Deputies of the Mazhilis have adopted a bill, with the adoption of which testing for professional integrity will be introduced in Kazakhstan for police officers and civil servants.
Law enforcement officers and employees of civil bodies will be tested for integrity in order to prevent corruption. The document regulates their rights and obligations, provides the basis for assigning testing and measures of responsibility based on the results of testing.
"As a result, dishonest employees will be promptly identified and measures will be taken against possible corrupt actions," said deputy Snezhanna Imasheva.
According to the rules, before being enrolled in the law enforcement service, the candidate will be notified in writing about passing the test. According to the bill developers, its introduction "helps to increase public confidence in these bodies."
