Tengrinews.kz — President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited the horses that had been gifted to him over the years and observed how they are being cared for.
The Akorda press service clarified that a year ago the Head of State gave the name Akzhan to a light-gray Akhal-Teke colt.
“A few months ago, a light-brown colt joined our Akhal-Teke horses — I named him Akniet. Specialists who know horses well believe that in the future he may achieve high results in international competitions. Recently, Arabian racehorses gifted by the State of Qatar have also appeared in the stables of the Presidential Administration,” Tokayev said.
The President admitted that he sometimes comes himself to feed the horses.

In his post, President Tokayev also emphasized the importance of continuing to pay attention to the development of equestrian sports and promoting respectful treatment of horses in the country.
