Tengrinews.kz – People were evacuated from the Mega Park shopping mall in Almaty. This was reported by our correspondents who are currently at the scene.
What happened
Journalists from the newsroom noticed a crowd gathered near the mall’s entrance and decided to find out the reason. According to eyewitnesses nearby, the building’s alarm system had gone off shortly beforehand, after which staff received an order to evacuate.
It is reported that people were asked not to panic, were directed to the nearest exits, and entry into the building was restricted.
It is noteworthy that the mall opens at 10 a.m., so most of those inside were employees preparing for the opening.
