Tengrinews.kz – The National Security Committee (NSC) Department in Shymkent, in coordination with the prosecutor's office, has dismantled a drug laboratory.
According to the NSC press service, a Kazakhstani citizen was detained while producing psychotropic substances. He has been taken into custody with a court-issued warrant.
"During the search, more than 7 kilograms of the narcotic substance 'alpha-PVP,' 500 liters of precursors, and laboratory equipment were seized," the statement said.
A pre-trial investigation is underway under Part 3 of Article 297 of the Criminal Code.
Earlier, we reported that the NSC discovered a drug laboratory in the Almaty region.
