Tengrinews.kz - Telecom operators in Kazakhstan will not change existing tariffs until the end of the year.
This was announced by the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation, and Aerospace Industry
"As a result of discussions with telecom operators, an agreement has been reached to maintain the current tariff levels for communication services until the end of 2024," the statement says.
(There are 23 days left until the end of the year).
The ministry added that operators expressed their willingness to cooperate and freeze existing tariffs despite economic challenges.
"Communication is the foundation of everyday life, work, and education. The maintenance of stable communication tariffs demonstrates our commitment to the interests of citizens and support for socially significant initiatives," emphasized the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation, and Aerospace Industry.
Previously, the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation, and Aerospace Industry proposed new rules for the sale of SIM cards to individuals and legal entities in Kazakhstan.
