Tengrinews.kz - Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of National Economy Serik Zhumangarin has commented on how the conflict between Iran and Israel could affect Kazakhstan’s exports in that direction.

According to Zhumangarin, the government is closely monitoring the situation and working on alternative supply routes.

“We have a backup option — we can reroute through Georgia or through Chinese ports. Yes, it makes logistics a bit more complicated, but if this has long-term consequences for us, we’ll explore other options and support entrepreneurs,” the deputy prime minister said.

He emphasized that it is too early to speak about specific changes, but the government is ready to respond quickly as the situation evolves.

“It’s too early to draw conclusions. I hope that common sense will ultimately prevail,” he added.

Earlier, details emerged about the status of certain flights from Kazakhstan to the United Arab Emirates.
