Tengrinews.kz - Chairman of the Mazhilis Yerlan Koshanov has signed a directive to convene a joint session of the chambers of Parliament.
The session will take place on June 27 at 10:00 a.m. in Astana.
“In accordance with subparagraph 2, paragraph 4, article 58 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, convene a joint session of the Chambers of Parliament on June 27, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the city of Astana,” the directive states.
Traditionally, joint sessions of Parliament are held in early September—when the President delivers the State of the Nation Address—and in June, to close the parliamentary session, after which Members of Parliament go on recess.
Additionally, during such joint sessions, members of Parliament approve the government’s and the Supreme Audit Chamber’s reports on the execution of the national budget.
