Tengrinews.kz - Kazakhstanis complained about a mass failure with payment in the Yandex.Taxi application.
"Massive failure of Yandex.Taxi. Endless charges to the card. They charge it, convert to cash, you re-enter your card information, they charge again, and again convert to cash," wrote user Andrey Chebotarev.
In the comments to the publication, other users also confirmed problems with payment in Yandex.Taxi. They noted that their bank cards were charged multiple times.
The Yandex Go press service commented on the situation.
"This morning, some users experienced temporary difficulties with paying for orders, we are aware of the problem and have already fixed everything. If attempts to pay for an order were unsuccessful, funds on card accounts could have been mistakenly frozen; they will be automatically unfrozen by the system in the near future," the Yandex Go press service assured.
Earlier, transport police have brought more than 500 illegal taxi drivers to administrative responsibility in Kazakhstan.
