Tengrinews.kz — Police in Semey have taken administrative action against a woman who staged a late-night photoshoot directly on the roadway of a vehicle bridge.
The video surfaced on social media, sparking concern among users. The footage shows a woman wearing sunglasses lying down on the asphalt and posing for the camera at night as cars drive past.
In the comments section, many users noted that such behavior is dangerous and could lead to tragedy. One follower shared that she once nearly hit a young man who was lying on the road filming for TikTok. Others pointed out that such shots are not worth the risk for social media views. Many tagged the regional police department's account in their comments. The agency later reported that the identity of the woman in the video has been established.
"The individual in the video is a 35-year-old resident of the Aktobe region. An administrative protocol has been filed against her for violations of traffic regulations by pedestrians and other road users," the press service of the Abai Regional Police Department stated.
Such an offense carries a fine of 2 MCI (8,650 tenge).
Police reminded the public that such filming is hazardous. At night, a driver may notice a person on the road too late to brake in time.
"It is not worth risking your life for spectacular shots and social media views. No video is worth such consequences," the Abai Regional Police Department noted.
In May of this year, an Astana court reviewed the case of a student who staged a provocative photoshoot at one of the capital's main landmarks.
Footage also circulated on social media showing the young man lying on the ground and making an obscene gesture in front of the Bayterek monument.
Netizens were outraged by the man's behavior, viewing it as a sign of disrespect. In court, he fully admitted his guilt and expressed remorse. Despite this, the court sentenced him to 5 days of administrative arrest.
