Tengrinews.kz - It has been announced when the international railway service from Ridder to Novosibirsk will start running.
The Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan has reached an agreement with the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.
"Trains will start operating on December 18, 2024, with a frequency of once every four days," the ministry's press service reported.
The international train No. 407/408 from Novosibirsk to Ridder, serviced by Russian Railways, consists of 6 cars (3 train compartment and 3 parlor cars) with a capacity for 250 passengers.
"The cars are equipped with air conditioning systems, video surveillance, bio-toilet complexes, power outlets, USB ports for charging mobile devices/gadgets, and individual lighting near each seat, among other features," the Ministry of Transport stated.
