Everyone trying to access the website faced “This is not a problem with IP.Board but rather with your SQL server. Please contact your host and copy the message shown above” message. According to the website management, the DDoS attack started August 5 afternoon. “Our team is working to restore the website. As far as possible suspicions are concerned, the old Romans would say “Is fecit, qui prodest [translated as “Done by the one who profits from it”]””, Dmitry Zimin commented, adding that the investigation is under way. July 15 another website – this time the website guljan.org launched by a famous Kazakhstan-based journalist Gulzhan Ergaliyeva – was also targeted by hackers. The website also failed on Friday. Over 58 000 domain names have been registered in the Kazakhstan’s segment of the worldwide web. The annual growth of the figure stands at 20-25%.
