Tengrinews.kz – Information circulating on social media and messaging apps about alleged payments of 70,000 tenge to Kazakh citizens born between 1949 and 2010 is false, according to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.
"The information being spread on social networks and messengers claiming that citizens of Kazakhstan born between 1949 and 2010 are entitled to payments of 70,000 tenge is not true. Unknown individuals are offering a link to supposedly receive the funds," the Ministry stated.
The Ministry emphasized that no such type of social assistance exists, and clicking the link may be an attempt by fraudsters to steal citizens’ personal data.
"To avoid falling victim to scammers, we strongly advise not to click on the link," the Ministry added.
They also reminded that official information about government support measures is distributed only via SMS messages from the number 1414.
"We urge citizens to trust only official sources. Please remember that spreading false information is punishable by law," the Ministry warned.
