Kazakhstan figure skater Denis Ten lacks confidence and skill to win world championships, Olimpics figure skating champion Maxim Marinin told Tengrinews.kz at the sidelines of Ice and Fire show in Almaty. “He is very talented. When I saw his performances at the trainings in Moscow for the first time, I sincerely wished him luck. I think that he is not experienced enough and not very confident. Stable results are required to be at the top,” the skater said. As per Marinin, stability is a sign of proficiency. Marinin's partner Tatiana Totmianina added that one needs to believe in becoming a champion to become one. This is where success comes from, she said.
