Tengrinews.kz – Kazakhstan and Israel are preparing to abolish visas in order to develop tourism. Details were reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Today, Kazakhstan’s Foreign Minister Yermek Kosherbayev held talks with his Israeli counterpart Gideon Sa’ar, who arrived in Astana on an official visit.

“As part of the visit, the 12th round of political consultations was held between the foreign ministries of the two countries, during which issues on the international and regional agenda were discussed, including initiatives aimed at promoting peaceful settlement and strengthening confidence in the Middle East,” the Foreign Ministry said.

Following the 12th round of political consultations, a memorandum of intent was signed to conclude an agreement between the governments of Kazakhstan and Israel on visa exemption for holders of national passports with the aim of developing tourist exchanges.
