Delegations from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and China discussed joint measures to combat transnational crime, extremism, illegal drug trafficking, cybercrime, and human trafficking.

Kazakhstan's Interior Minister Erzhan Sadenov, who led the Kazakh delegation, held bilateral talks with China's Minister of Public Security to discuss concrete steps to enhance security.

"Given the high levels of drug threats and IT-related crime, the interior ministers of Kazakhstan and China agreed on joint efforts to tackle these issues, including sharing information and experiences," noted the ministry's press service.

Additionally, Sadenov participated in the Global Forum on Public Security Cooperation, where he met with representatives from the interior ministries of Turkey and Pakistan. The parties expressed their readiness to further expand cooperation to address contemporary security challenges.
