Tengrinews.kz — Kazakh seismologists recorded an earthquake in Kyrgyzstan.
According to operational data from the Kazakhstan National Data Center, the earthquake occurred on April 16 at 04:57 Astana time. The magnitude of the tremors was 4.1.
According to the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of Kyrgyzstan, the epicenter of the 4.5-magnitude earthquake was located 18 kilometers north of the village of Konorchok and 115 kilometers southwest of the city of Naryn.
In populated areas, the intensity of the earthquake was recorded as follows:
- 3.5 points in the villages of Konorchok and Cholok-Kayin,
- 3 points in the villages of Kosh-Bulak and Zhany-Tilek,
- 3 points in the district center of Bayetovo.
