Inflation rate in May stands at 0.5%

Inflation rate in Kazakhstan in May stands at 0.5%, the State Agency for Statistics reported June 1. In May 2010 the figure made up 0.6%. The annual inflation rate in 2010 reached 7.8% from 6.2% in 2009. According to the National Bank, inflation is to be held within the range of 6-8% in 2011-2015. Inflation rate in May as compared to December 2010 stands at 4.8%. Inflation rate for January-May 2011 made up 8.4% as compared to the like period in 2010.
