February is the shortest month of the year. The last month of winter in Kazakhstan will pass without any state or national holidays, meaning residents will only have weekends as days off.
Days off in February 2025
The number of days off in February will depend on your work schedule: those on a five-day workweek will have eight days off, while workers on a six-day workweek will have only four.
For those with a five-day workweek, the February weekend schedule is as follows:
- Saturdays: February 1, 8, 15, and 22;
- Sundays: February 2, 9, 16, and 23.
For those working a six-day workweek, only Sundays will be days off:
- February 2, 9, 16, and 23.
Professional holidays and memorial dates in February 2025
Although there are no official holidays, February includes several professional and commemorative dates observed in Kazakhstan:
- February 1: Civil Aviation Worker's Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- February 2: National Press Day;
