Heavy rain and fog
Due to the passage of atmospheric frontal systems, most of Kazakhstan is expected to see rain with thunderstorms. On July 9-10 in the north, and on July 10 in the northwest, south, and southeast of the country, heavy rain, hail, and squalls are forecast.
Dry weather is expected only in the western part of the country under the influence of a northwestern anticyclone ridge. Wind will intensify across the country. During the night and morning hours, fog is expected in the north.
What about temperatures?
On July 9-10, daytime extreme heat of 35-41°C is expected in the west and southwest of Kazakhstan, and 35–38°C in the northwest. In the northern regions, nighttime temperatures will be 7-15°C, and daytime 20-27°C. In the south and southeast, a gradual drop in temperatures is expected. In other regions, no significant changes in temperature are forecast.
