Early July weather forecast
In the first days of July, an active cyclone and atmospheric fronts will bring thunderstorms and rain to most regions. Heavy precipitation is expected in the south, as well as in the mountainous and foothill areas of the Almaty and Zhetysu regions.
Regions facing the most intense heat
Temperatures will rise rapidly during the first ten days of July. In the west, daytime highs will climb from +30°C to +38°C. The Mangystau region is expected to reach +40°C, while the southern part of the region could see highs of +43°C.
In northwestern Kazakhstan, temperatures will reach +33...+40°C; in the north, +33...+38°C; and in central regions, +32...+40°C.
The most intense heat is forecast for southern Kazakhstan, where temperatures may soar to +44°C. The southeast of the country is expected to reach up to +42°C.
Late July weather outlook
According to meteorologists, the second and third ten-day periods of July will see alternating waves of extreme heat and heavy downpours, thunderstorms, gusty winds, and dust storms.
Across most of the country, peak temperatures will range from +33°C to +39°C. Western and southern regions can expect highs between +35°C and +45°C.
Brief temperature drops are expected on certain days. In northern Kazakhstan, daytime highs may dip to +20...+28°C, while southern regions may see a decrease to +23...+33°C.
