Tengrinews.kz - Transport police at Almaty airport detained a 30-year-old Russian woman for petty hooliganism.
According to the press service of the Police Department on transport, the incident occurred after the arrival of the Moscow-Almaty flight. It was noted that the woman displayed aggressive and inappropriate behavior during the flight. She used obscene language, ignored the crew's remarks, and refused to comply with their orders to maintain order.
"The woman was held administratively accountable for petty hooliganism and for violating the rules of conduct on an aircraft, and was fined 25 monthly calculation indices (MCI) 92,300 tenge," said Madiyar Aytuganov, the acting head of the Transport Police Department.
According to the Police Department on transport, since the beginning of this year, 80,813 citizens have been held accountable for various administrative offenses at aviation and railway transport facilities. Of these, 677 people were punished for petty hooliganism, and 83 violators were penalized for failing to follow rules of conduct on board an aircraft.
Earlier, another foreigner was also detained at Almaty airport. Police found hashish oil and a psychoactive substance in his package.
Additionally, a foreign woman was detained at Astana International Airport for attempting to cross the border using a counterfeit Kazakh passport.
