Tengrinews.kz – The press service of Kairat FC has revealed how many Real Madrid fans are expected to attend the upcoming Champions League match in Almaty.
Spain’s ambassador, Luis Francisco Martinez Montes, visited Kairat’s facilities, and during the meeting, the club shared details about the number of international fans attending the match.
“As part of the meeting, details of the upcoming match with Madrid’s Real were discussed. Over 1,000 Spanish fans are expected to travel to Almaty, covering more than 6,500 kilometers to support their team. The Spanish Embassy expressed readiness to provide consular assistance to the visitors,” the club’s statement said.
The Kairat vs. Real Madrid match in the UEFA Champions League is scheduled for September 30 at Central Stadium in Almaty, which has a capacity of 23,804 spectators.

Ticket sales: what’s known
So far, tickets for the Kairat vs. Real Madrid match have not yet gone on sale.
Serik Zharasbayev, Vice Minister of Tourism and Sports, stated that ticket sales will begin in the third week of September, about 10 days before kickoff. He also mentioned that a portion of the tickets will be distributed for free.
Meanwhile, Almaty police have issued a warning about fraudsters attempting to sell fake or non-existent tickets for the match.

Earlier, Kairat fans launched a petition asking to limit ticket sales for the game against Madrid's Real to avoid scalping and ensure that more local fans can attend.
