Festive fireworks launched in Astana for Capital Day

Tengrinews.kz - A festive fireworks display was held in the capital to mark City Day.

According to the city akimat (local government administration), the bright fireworks show was funded through sponsorship.

The fireworks were launched around 11:00 p.m. from the Botanical Garden. The show lasted for five minutes, with more than 1,700 shots fired.

A holiday concert at the Astana Arena stadium featured performances by local pop stars and creative groups.

City officials noted that more than a hundred diverse events were held across Astana to celebrate the occasion.
