Extreme heat of up to +44 to return, but not across all Kazakhstan

Rain expected across almost the entire country

According to forecasters, a northwestern cyclone will move across Kazakhstan from July 23 to 25. It will bring rain with thunderstorms to most of the country, with heavy precipitation and hail expected in some areas.

Along with the cyclone, colder air masses will enter Kazakhstan, causing temperatures to drop in most regions.

Extreme heat expected in the west

A completely different situation will develop in the country’s western regions. Warm and dry air masses from Iran will begin to move in, causing precipitation to stop and air temperatures to rise significantly.

According to Kazhydromet, daytime temperatures will reach +34…+39 degrees, while very intense heat of up to +40…+44 degrees is forecast in some areas.
